After getting engaged in July of late year, I’ve been obsessed with all-white outfits. To be fair, I’ve always had a penchant for summer white dresses and white tops. Being engaged has just taken that love to another level. Luckily white looks don’t have to be relegated to spring and summer. The old “no white after Labor Day” rule no longer applies, and winter whites are here to stay.
I put together this winter white look for the bride-to-be while on a trip to Paris at the end of last year. My favorite things about this outfit are how easy it was to put together and how chic it is. Proof that a great outfit doesn’t have to be complicated. The base of this look is a simple white turtleneck (EU) and a pleated skirt (EU). I’ve had this turtleneck for a year, and it’s such a good staple. The skirt is new and picked up with bride-to-be outfits in mind.
The reason this winter white look for the bride-to-be works so well is the styling. Midi skirts can easily make legs look shorter, so the addition of a nude heel (EU) with a pointed toe elongates the leg lines. A brown pouch bag grounds the look. And the finishing touch was a deep red lip (EU) (shade is Sin) to make this all-white outfit winter appropriate.
Tell me in the comments, would you wear this look in winter? You don’t have to be a bride to rock all white!
