I have to admit, I thought I’d be doing some very different shopping this time of year. Before covid-19 hit, I expected to be buying sandals, swimsuits and dresses in preparation for summer vacations. But with the drastic turn of events this year, my shopping cart looks very different.
Instead of prepping for vacations and spring events, I’m looking inward. My quarantine shopping cart is filled with things to do, household decor, and items that bring me happiness or hope. While it’s tempting to let this life change get me down, I’m welcoming this newfound sense of gratitude and shift in values.

QUARANTINE SHOPPING CART
- Comfy slides – I bought these slides just last week, and they’re my new favorite thing. Not only are the cute and very on trend, but they’re so comfortable I’ve been wearing them around the house.
- Favorite t-shirt – Last summer, I bought this t-shirt and wore it so much that I had to restock this year.
- Cute sweatshirts – Let’s be honest, we’re all wearing leggings and sweatshirts around the clock right now. This one is so cute and a longer length that’s more flattering.
- Summer’s hottest sneaker – You heard it here first. Converse Chuck 70 are going to be one of the hottest shoes for summer. Great news is you can start wearing it now for grocery runs.
- Maxi dresses – For those days when you want to look like you tried without actually putting in any effort at all. Hint: I wrote more about looking put together without sacrificing comfort in this post.
- Face masks – This Glam Glow mask is one of my favorites, especially since my skin is so congested from all the stress of life right now.
- Muscle shirts – Another summer trend you’re going to start seeing a lot of. I love this one because it’s so super easy to wear around the house.
