Here in the Netherlands, we’re in full lockdown, so our New Year’s Eve plans are going to be pretty simple. I’m sure for many of us around the world, that will be the case. What to Wear if You’re Keeping it Casual
While I love to think that everything is going to immediately change once we enter 2021, it seems like loungewear will remain our uniform of choice for the first part of the year. Just because you’re lounging on the couch, doesn’t mean you can’t be a little bit festive. Consider pearl-encrusted sweats or the comfiest possible cardigan paired with a 2021 headband. Honestly, is there any other way to dress after the insanity that was 2020?

What to Wear if You’re Dressing Up
While I love the idea of keeping it casual for 2021, I also feel like I can’t pass up an opportunity to dress up. This year has been a mess, and I’m so ready to have fun with fashion again next year. There’s nothing wrong with pairing a sequin dress with fluffy slippers or going all out in a velvet number and heels. And don’t forget a festive mask if you’re going to be around other people!
