Striped Sweaters for 2021

If you’re anything like me, you love when classic items are trending. Items like trench coats and knee high boots come back around every few years with a new trendy twist. This spring, one of my favorite classic pieces is majorly trending. Striped sweaters for 2021 have been popping up all over Instagram. They’re a little piece of classic French style that’s as easy to wear as it is chic.

I’ve been wearing striped sweaters for years. It’s a piece that’s totally worth investing in, as it’s never really “out.” The striped sweaters for 2021 have some fun upgrades that make them feel fresh while sticking to the typically french color palette of blue, black, red, and white. One of the most popular styles right now is this one (EU) from Zara, featuring a quarter zip and oversized sleeves with a slit. Similar styles have been popping up in all the shops.

While the weather is slowly starting to warm up, it’s a great time to purchase a striped sweater. Wear it now with jeans or leggings. And when summer rolls around, it’s the perfect nautical layering piece for chilly nights or air conditioned interiors.
