If you’re like me, you live someplace where it isn’t quite warm enough to bring out your tank tops. But you’re probably also over wearing winter sweaters. In Amsterdam, the weather fluctuates so much this time of year. And if I’m being honest, it doesn’t truly stay warm until mid June. That means for at least another month, getting dressed can be a little tricky.
Enter spring tops for transitional weather. Just because it’s too chilly for a tank top, doesn’t mean you have to be bundled up to your ears like the last several months.
The key to picking a good spring top for transitional weather is to find a long-sleeve option in a lighter material. I like to think of these spring tops as blousy. The long sleeves ensure that you won’t freeze if you take your jacket off in a restaurant. And the lighter material means you can layer the top under a coat or leather jacket without added bulk.
I’ve linked some of the spring tops for transitional weather that I really love in the carousel below. Including this one from Chicwish that I’ve already worn a hundred times. I promise if you pick up a good long sleeve spring top, you’ll get lots of use out of it.
