The Six Items in My Fall Shopping Cart

.01 OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS

I love the look of over-the-knee boots. They are such a fun way to add a little something extra to a pair of jeans or a skirt. Being here in Amsterdam, I wanted to find a pair that didn’t have too high of a heel, so I can ride my bike in them. Plus, with all the travel we are going to be doing, I need to be able to walk for a long time without the balls of my feet hurting. I don’t care for the style of the flat over-the-knee boots that much, so these ones with a slight heel are the perfect in between. The black color is super versatile, although I did look into some fun colored pairs like this navy pair.

.02 BIKER JACKET

I’ve had my eye on this biker jacket I saw it in Zara when we first moved to Amsterdam, but seeing Gigi Hadid wearing one made it official. I had to have it. I usually go for black, but decided to switch it up this time and go with this beautiful burgundy color. Not only is this jacket such a fun style, but it’s super warm. That’s essential for life in the Dam. Paired with a warm sweater, I can happily bike to work in style.

.03 BAKER BOY CAP

I own this hat in black and get so many compliments! Baker boy caps are everywhere, on celebrities and on all the stylish Dutch girls. I don’t believe in spending a lot of money on super trendy items, so this one is perfect for under 25 EUR.

.04 SHERPA PULL-OVER

I heard recently that Abercrombie & Fitch is back, so I had to go check it out for myself. I wasn’t disappointed. As long as you stay away from the overly branded items from your middle school days, they have some really great coats and sweaters. In particular, I’m digging this sherpa half-zip. It looks so cozy, and the color is really on trend. I’d love to pair it with my favorite J. Crew jeans and some loafers for a casual weekend look.

.05 TASSEL EARRINGS

Tassel earrings were a hit this summer, but don’t stop there. This black pair can easily transition to fall and winter. I love the gold detail around the studs because it gives this pair a little extra pizzazz. At under 25 EUR, I’m totally going to throw this pair in my cart next time I place an Asos order (which as always will probably be soon).

.06 FAUX SUEDE SKIRT

I love the khaki color of this skirt and the faux suede makes it feel super luxe (but at a Zara price!). The length is perfect because it means I won’t flash anyone while riding my bike, plus I like the more demure style. Paired with my black boots, it’s the perfect fall look.
