If you’re anything like me, taking care of your skin is a huge priority. As a teenager, I struggled with really bad acne which made me super self conscious. As an adult, I managed to get my acne under control with a strict skincare routine ahead of my wedding. Now that I feel like I’ve got a good handle on my acne, I’ve started to focus on things I can do to minimize sun damage and improve my skin texture. Enter the Glotech Mask Pro.
LED Esthetics recently reached out to me to review their LED mask, and I couldn’t say no. I’ve been dying to get an at-home LED mask to replicate the results I see when I go get a facial. The LED mask has settings for both anti-aging and anti-acne, which felt like the perfect fit for my primary skin concerns. Keep reading for my full Glotech Mask Pro review.

Glotech Mask Pro Review
One of the first things I liked about the LED Esthetics Glotech Mask Pro is that it’s FDA cleared and backed by independent studies. One of the most important things when investing in an LED mask is to make sure it’s the real deal. So many of the cheaper masks don’t have strong enough LED light to actually give you any benefit. I could immediately trust that I would see results with the Glotech Mask Pro, which you can find here.
The flexible mask is super easy to wear and comes with eye protectors meaning I can wear my mask while watching TV without damaging my vision. It’s wireless and rechargeable, so I can wear it around the house while getting all the benefits. Each treatment setting (anti-aging and anti-acne) are only ten minutes, which makes it super easy to commit to regular usage.
So let’s talk about the best part – the benefits to your skin! I personally use both the red and blue light settings regularly. I’ve found that my skin is softer and more glowing after the red light. And the blue light helps speed up healing of any existing breakouts I might have. But the full range of benefits for both is even broader:
Red light (anti-aging)
- Reduce wrinkles & fine lines
- Boost collagen production
- Fade dark spots & sun damage
- Improve skin texture
Blue light (anti-acne)
- Clear stubborn breakouts
- Control oil production
- Reduce redness & inflammation
- Minimize pore size
I’ve been using both settings regularly for over a month and have definitely noticed a difference in my skin. But, similar to my NuFace review, I really recommend using the Glotech Mask Pro regularly for best results. If you’re only going to use is once a week or inconsistently, it’s not worth the investment. But if you can commit to wearing it for 10 minutes 3-4x a week while watching TV, you’ll probably see results.
LED Esthetics also sent me their Hydrogel mask, which is a transparent sheet mask designed to be used with the LED mask. I loved that I was able to get the benefits of hyaluronic acid while also getting the benefits of the LED mask. Using the two together definitely amplified the plumping of my skin and left me feeling way more hydrated. However, you aren’t required to use the two together and can still get great results without the sheet mask.
Now my only complaint about the Glotech Mask Pro isn’t really a complaint about this mask specifically. I just wish there was a way to wear an LED mask with glasses. At the end of a long workday, I always take my contacts out before washing my face. To make sure I get the most out of my LED mask, I have to remember not to take my contacts out right away. Otherwise, I’m tempted to skip using it because I can’t see well enough to do anything else while wearing it. Again, this isn’t a problem specific to the Glotech Mask Pro. I’d have this problem with any LED mask.
