I can’t believe it’s July all ready. And even more than that, I can’t believe we’re almost a week into the month. Is it just me or does summer always seem to fly by quicker than any other time of year? I wrote this post a few weeks ago about how to shop my Instagram, and in it I mentioned doing some Instagram roundups. I always link every item that I can when posting to Instagram, but unfortunately some products either aren’t available or the retailer doesn’t work with Liketoknow.it. Which is why I’m starting a monthly Instagram Roundup, where I’ll share some of the most popular outfits from the month with further details, sizing, and links for any Zara pieces.
Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see from this type of post. Or if this post does/doesn’t interest you.
Xx, Kelsey
J. Crew one-shoulder swimsuit (also comes in Navy) | Zara high waisted shorts (this year’s version here) | Steve Madden sandals | Etsy round bag (similar styles here and here)
I can’t believe at the beginning of last month I was still sharing Croatia pics. To be honest, it feels like it has been ages since we were there. And I’ve definitely been missing it. I wore one of my favorite swimsuits under distressed Zara shorts while we walked our Game of Thrones tour. I wanted to be as ready as possible to hop into the water. I ordered a 6 long last year and had the top tailored a bit so it would stay up. I don’t believe they have this in long anymore, but the sizes they do have are on sale!
H&M off-the-shoulder top | J. Crew pants (similar pair here) | Old Zara loafers (similar style here) | Mango bag
As you know from this post, I’ve been on a shopping freeze for a little while now. Luckily my aunt came to visit in June and took me to do a little shopping. We picked up this gorgeous and comfy top at H&M. I wore it to see a concert at the Concertgebouw here in Amsterdam. I definitely recommend sizing down at least one size. There is a lot of fabric in this shirt. I can’t remember, but I got either a 2 or 4 (normally wear a 6 for reference).
Zara linen top | Reebok leggings | Steve Madden sandals | Mango bag | Identical sunglasses here
This top is another item that my aunt bought for me (Thank you, Aunt Fleur!). I had been wanting an oversized button down for summer and this one felt so cool and updated. It doesn’t actually unbotton all the way, so it’s more of a tunic. I think it would also work really well as a swimsuit coverup. The weather was really weird on this day. It started out quite cold and then ended up hot in the afternoon, which is why I’m wearing it with leggings.
Zara button down shirt | J. Crew Factory toothpick jeans | H&M floral loafers | Cinco ginger necklace | Similar sunglasses
There was a lot of interest from you guys in regards to these loafers. And rightly so! I bought them from H&M a while back and only just started wearing them. They’re so super cute and were perfect for picking up flowers at the market. The run TTS and are only $24.99!
Mango eyelet skirt | Banana Republic mock-neck tank | Steve Madden sandals | Shein clear wooden handle bag | Cinco Ginger necklace | Henri Bendel Miss Bendel bracelet and Petal bracelet
I shared this outfit in a recent blog post, and I just love it! This eyelet skirt from Mango is super cute and versatile. This is one of the few items I’ve broken my shopping freeze for. I reasoned that getting this skirt would give me a lot of outfit options and would be a good classic addition to my closet. I’ve already worn it a few times, including in Croatia with a cropped halter.
Gap distressed black jeans | Shein lace panel blouse | Banana Republic cami | Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn block heels (this year’s style in black here)| YSL wallet chain bag | Henri Bendel Miss Bendel bracelet and Petal bracelet
Saving the best for last! I met some girlfriends for drinks and to check out the coolest pink restaurant in Amsterdam. I wanted to be a little dressier, so I wore this top that I bought back when I did a Shein haul on the blog. It’s just so totally cute. Very see-through, so I made sure to wear a basic white cami from Banana Republic underneath. Unfortunately, my Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn shoes are no longer available, but I linked this season’s version. They were my favorite shoes to wear to work in NYC because they were easy to walk in with the block heel, but also a little dressier than flats.
