Holiday Party Ready

Remember when we used to get dressed up for holiday parties? Gosh, that feels like ages ago. We are back in lockdown in the Netherlands, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream about dressing up. A few weeks ago, my photographer friend, Jacqui, and I rented a studio to shoot some Christmas content. I knew it was the perfect time to pull out an over-the-top holiday party ready look.

This red dress was a Zara purchase while we were in lockdown at the beginning of 2021. I bought it with the intention of rocking it to dinner with my besties in Paris. Of course, that never really happened. Instead, the dress just hung in my closet. When we decided to do this shoot, I knew it was the perfect time to pull it out. What screams holiday party more than red satin, an open back, and a bow?

I paired the dress with black heels (EU) and a pearl headband. They gave the look a little extra interest, but you could very easily pair this dress with nude heels (EU) and dangly earrings. Throw your hair up in a ponytail or bun to show off that gorgeous back.

If this dress doesn’t get any other use, I’m totally ok with it because I had so much fun dancing around the studio and taking photos. Enjoy this holiday party ready look!
