TGIF! Has this week seemed longer than normal to you? I have to say I’m so glad it’s almost the weekend, and not just because I have a Halloween party to go to on Saturday. Although that might be like 70% of it.
My weeks have been getting busier with blogging, extra client work, and teacher training. While I sometimes miss the ability to watch TV in the middle of the day, it really does feel good to be working again. Plus paychecks are always nice.
I’m super excited right now because I head to New York in two weeks. I can’t believe I haven’t been back once since we moved over a year ago. I’m already jam packing my long weekend with shoots, time with friends, shopping, working out. It’s going to be busy, but it’s also going to be so great to be back in the city I love so much.
I do still have to get through next week before I can get too crazy excited. Jon and I are going to see Leon Bridges on Thursday. We’re both big fans and have heard he does a great show.
What are you looking forward to in the next few weeks?
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: WEEK 24
Are you dressing up for any Halloween parties this weekend? I’ve got 5 chic costume ideas for you in this post.
Jon and I have been considering skiing over Christmas. I have snow boots, but I’m also loving this pair purely for the way they look.
These leggings and this sports bra are calling my name. Maybe my first spin teaching outfit?
I’ll 100% be going to this store in NY for candles and Christmas lotion.
Making a Murderer season 2 is out on Netflix, and guys, I’m addicted!
You all helped out so much on Instagram stories this week when it comes to holiday content. I can’t believe it’s already time to work on putting together gift guides. I’m already imagining this and this on there.
Even though I’m no longer a competitive figure skater, I still get super excited for the rinks to open in Amsterdam. This one is open outside the city and this one opens soon!
I bought this as part of my Halloween costume (I’m sure you can guess what I’m being now). But I’m actually really excited to use it regularly. No more bulky button downs under sweaters!
I’ve been spending way too much time on my fall Pinterest board, but I can’t get enough fall fashion. Follow me over there (@kelseyybarnes) and send me a DM to check out your Pinterest. I’m always on the hunt for new inspiration.
The Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collection at Nordstrom is to die for. Blair Eadie is one of the first bloggers I started following. In particular I’m loving this plaid coat, this menswear blazer, and this polka dot skirt.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
