Hey friends, it’s Friday again. The first one of February. I thought maybe with February I’d be a little less worn out each Friday, but I’m still finding things just as exhausting. Such is 2021, apparently.
Lockdown here in the Netherlands was just extended until March 2nd. I’m not surprised, but boy am I tired of it. This lockdown is definitely harder than the last. Everyone I’ve spoken to feels that way. I think it’s largely a fact that it’s cold and dark so we can’t do things outside. I also think it was easier to be positive during the first lockdown because it was new, and we all thought we’d be out in two weeks. This time around we know better.
Amsterdam is expected to get a snowstorm this Sunday. We are finally going to get some real snow, and naturally, it’s on the one day of the year Jon and I have to drive somewhere. I mentioned in this post about our move that we had one more exciting announcement coming. Keep an eye out for it this week! I can’t wait to share!

FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 4, WEEK 4 & 5
Apparently I’m back into shopping at Zara. This (EU) and this (EU) are currently sitting in my cart. And I definitely already bought this sweater (EU).
I just finished this nonfiction book about an American family where half their 12 children turned out to be schizophrenic. It’s on Oprah’s list which makes sense because it was fascinating. Now I’m starting this popular book.
You all have been loving this wrap sweater (EU) lately which I’m thinking about picking up in pink. It’a definitely the most purchased item from LIKEtoKNOW.it lately.
For my EU friends, I just bought these glasses from Bol that are a knockoff of the ones at Soho House. Planning to pour myself a glass of Prosecco in them this weekend.
The never-ending lockdown means I’m painting my own nails all the time. This topcoat (EU) will save literally any mani. I swear by it for a smooth, gel-like finish.
I can’t stop visiting & Other Stories to look at this sweater (EU). I just don’t know if I can justify another white sweater.
