Gosh it has been a WEEK. I have had a lot of work hit very late in my day, so I was online until 9p a few nights this week. It has been fairly exhausting. I’ve also been upping my workouts with more spin classes and heavier weights, so I’m sure that adds to it.
We officially have one weeks until our first summer vacation, and I CANNOT WAIT. I’m planning to do a packing blog post since I have so many cute outfits for Ibiza. Keep an eye out for that this next week!
Unfortunately Jolene is going to have to go in for her surgery a few days before we leave. I know she going to be so sad afterwards, but I’m glad our dog sitter has a dog who can keep her company. We’ve been giving her so much extra love leading up to the procedure (which is a lot because we already love on her sooo much). I know she’s going to be just fine and hopefully this is the last of her medical issues for a while.
I’m going to an indoor dinner for six people tonight, and it feels WILD. The Netherlands is officially opening up and doing away with most measures now that 14 million people are vaccinated. Still feels weird, but I’ll take it!

I’ve been taking a lot of spin classes now that gyms are open again. It has made me miss putting together playlists to teach classes, even though it was always really stressful putting new ones together multiple times a week. This one is one of my favorites.

It’s been a bit chilly in Amsterdam lately, so I’ve been getting more use out of my favorite denim jacket (EU). It goes on sale quite often and is such a classic wardrobe staple.
This video on gun violence in American schools is so incredibly impactful. They tricked the president of the NRA into addressing 3,044 empty chairs that represent the high school students who won’t get a chance to graduate due to gun violence. More on the background of the stunt here.
