TGIF! It has been an incredibly busy week, but I’m happy to have finally hit Friday. I’ve got a long weekend ahead thanks to Memorial Day in the states, and the sun is supposed to be shining here all weekend. It feels very very good to see spring finally show up in the rainy Netherlands.
I have a lunch today with one of my girlfriends at Morgan & Mees. They’ve got the cutest patio and a very delicious menu. I’ve also got dinner plans tomorrow and lunch Monday. Considering outdoor dining is the only thing to do around here, I’ve been making a million reservations. And to be fair, without the delivery fees most of these meals are cheaper than my Uber Eats orders.
Besides dining out, Jon and I are going to get massages on Sunday. The two of us have been upping our workouts, so it’s going to feel so good. I’m excited to get some of my neck tension released. Lately I’ve been so tense from workouts and sleeping awkwardly.
Do you have any plans this weekend? It’s so nice to finally be able to share things I’m doing here in Amsterdam instead of just complaining about lockdown and the rain!

Just restocked some of my beauty products. I bought my go-to cc cream (EU), these vitamins (EU), and this super affordable serum (EU) that I use with my Nuface mini. And if you want even more skincare, head to this post of some of my recent favorite products.
Jon and I just started watching Hacks on HBOmax. It about a very eccentric, rich old comedian living in Las Vegas. Honestly Jean Smart is so hilarious in it.
Now that restaurants are open in Amsterdam, it’s a good time to check out my guide for where to eat and drink here. It’s got some good terraces in there!
Abercrombie has some surprisingly cute swimsuits this year. I bought this white top (EU) and bottom (EU) and this gingham top (EU) and bottom (EU). I’m especially obsessed with the puffy sleeves on the last one.
Quay is currently doing a two for $40 deal on their new styles. It includes a few new versions of my favorite pair (EU). The standard styles are $55 each, so it’s a total steal.
