Hey friends. How are you doing? I don’t know about you but I’ve spent most of this week confused about what day it is. I could have sworn it was Thursday on Tuesday, so this week has felt especially long. Part of that is probably because of the chaos that was last week. And part is probably just trying to get back into a routine after the holidays.
My sugar withdrawals have settled down this week, and I’m feeling pretty good. As much as I love unhealthy foods, eating well really feels good. I’ve also been doing a little running. Being out in the cold doing cardio really brings back my days training as a figure skater in Colorado Springs. My body really does feel it’s best when I’m active and eating healthy like this. After the last year, it’s so important that we listen to our bodies and take care of them.
So I have a few exciting things coming that I can’t share just yet. But I’ll be bringing one of those announcements to you on Tuesday. If you want to be sure not to miss it, drop your email in the subscribe box at the top right of this post. You’ll get post updates and zero spam. Promise.
And as always if you like this post, please consider sharing on your socials. It’s a huge way to show your support and let me know which posts you’re enjoying most.
Have a good weekend!
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 4, WEEK 2
Anyone else been wearing the same outfit on repeat lately? Honestly, I’m all about comfort on these cold dark days working from home. This oversized sweater (EU) has been a weekly staple. You all have been loving it too. It’s been the number one item purchased from LIKEtoKNOW.it this week.
I just started reading this book (EU) from Oprah’s book club. I only like non-fiction when it’s written really well, and that’s the case here. It’s also so interesting because the family lived in Colorado Springs in the 50s and 60s, so they’re naming a lot of streets and areas I’ve been.
2021 might be looking a lot like 2020 right now, but I’m optimistic about what’s to come. I shared this post yesterday about my fashion predictions for this year.
Striped sweaters have been my jam lately, and they’re all over Instagram too. This style (EU only) is super similar to my favorite one that sold out.
If you’re a beauty lover, this podcast is a great listen for the latest and greatest from the industry.
We are supposed to (finally) get snow tomorrow in Amsterdam. I’ll be pulling out my favorite cold weather boots (EU). I’ve had them for a few years, and they’ve held up so well.
This meme made me laugh so hard this week. My fellow former athletes will totally understand!
