Happy Friday, my friends! I am utterly exhausted by this week and very ready for my Friday night glass of wine. I am in the process of switching to a new team at work (freelance life), which means I’m straddling two work streams this week. Aka I’m tired!
The good news is that there are some great things to look forward over the next few days. Tomorrow morning I’m taking two of my friends down to see the tulip fields. I’m looking forward to seeing them again this year. If you’re planning to go see them this year, you can check out my guide here. The tulips are going to be at their peak late this year, so next weekend is the best.
It’s also King’s Day on Tuesday! I took off work even though there won’t be any major celebrations or parade again this year. Instead it’ll be brunch at home. But as you know, I love any reason to celebrate, so I’m looking forward to it.
Do you have anything fun you’re looking forward to? I’d love to know!
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 4, WEEK 16
I recently did this DNA test (AD) that tells you how your genetics affect your health and well-being. I found out that I’m genetically balanced when it comes to stress. This article really helped in showing me how my genes could mean that I tend to take on too much because I function well under stress. Use discount code KELSEY20 for 20% off your test until May 7th!
I have had my eye on so many summer dressses lately. I’m not letting myself purchase any until after I switch out my closet, so I remember what I already have. But this dress (EU) and this dress (EU) are sitting in my shopping cart at the moment.
This article on “languishing” is a fantastic read. Languishing is the term for the “meh” place we’ve all been in for the last year – not burnt out, but not motivated either.
Terraces are opening in the NL next week, and I made a reservation here. It’s one of my favorite spots in the city to sit canalside.
Shared some of my favorite sandals for spring and summer in this post this week. I’m particularly fond of my new Sézane espadrilles (EU).
