How is it that the week after vacation always feels so freaking long? Even though I had Monday off, this week feels like it’s taken a million years. But thankfully the weekend is finally here. Since we were in Chamonix last weekend, Jon and I will be taking this one pretty easy. I’m looking forward to catching up on some sleep (which I never seem to get enough of).
There’s another reason we’re going to be taking the weekend easy. I am going to get my eyebrows micro-bladed! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I fill in my eyebrows every day, and honestly eyebrow pencils aren’t cheap. Plus doing this will shave a few minutes off my daily routine. I’m a little nervous because I’ve never done something like this or gotten a tattoo, so I don’t totally know what to expect. Thankfully the woman who is doing it is really good and very reassuring. I’ll be doing a blog post after the full experience so I can share with you all!
I’m sure you’ve been seeing all of the travel that’s getting canceled right now due to coronavirus. To be honest I’m not sure what I think of it. The flu kills so many more people a year, so it feels like a little bit of an necessary panic. I’m really hoping it isn’t going to affect travel for us, since that’s a big part of our life abroad. Have you been feeling the effects of coronavirus?
Hope you all have a good weekend. And don’t forget to wash your hands!
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 3, WEEK 7 & 8
I fell pray to an Instagram ad in the best way possible this week. It brought me to the Maje Outlet, which I had no idea existed. Safe to say I’ll be doing some shopping here in the near future.
I’ve been on the hunt for a dupe of the Bottega Veneta pouch bag. Mansur Gavriel just released their version. But I still can’t bring myself to spend that much money on a trendy bag. I just ordered this dupe and will share my thoughts when it comes in.
Spring still feels pretty far off in Amsterdam (although we are getting a lot more daylight). Until it’s warm enough for all my fave spring trends, I’m going to be incorporating the one in this post.
Just bought these faux leather pants. Now that spring is on the horizon, I’m ready to show my ankles again.
With all the coronavirus hysteria going around, it’s not only important to wash your hands, but wash your phone. Jon and I realized we hadn’t done that in ages (ew) so we did that this week.
This pretty bag caught my eye today. It just screams spring!
Really loving this top, this top, and this top from Mango. The sheer sleeves trend is just so pretty for spring. Pair them with trousers or a midi skirt.
