Happy Valentine’s Day my lovers! How will you be spending the holiday? With a valentine, your galentines, or can you not be bothered? Jon and I will be heading to dinner at one of our favorite Amsterdam restaurants that we haven’t visited in a while. It’s called Venus & Adonis. Has a nice intimate interior and very good steak (for him) and salmon (for me). Also fully planning to indulge in some dessert tonight.
This week has felt absolutely endless. It’s been really productive where work is concerned, but it just feels like it drags on and on. I really hate “living for the weekend,” but I really need a glass of wine and a good night of sleep. Safe to say I’m super happy it’s Friday.
I met up with a girlfriend last night to check out Cafe Ons Huis here in Amsterdam. It’s a new restaurant/bar and super cute. I probably took about 1580427 photos. But while we were together I confessed to her that I need to work on networking. Not necessarily for anything in particular, but just to expand my circle. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from working at a startup, it’s how important your network is.
So I’m making it a goal to get out more – more coffees and drinks with close friends, more days working outside of the home, more meeting new people. Although I have to admit my plans for this weekend include sleeping in, working out and hanging with Jon. So we’ll start on the above on Monday haha.

Just shared my winter skincare routine in this post. It includes literally every product that I’ve been using, and honestly my skin has been better than ever.
Think I’ll pick up this cute little bag from Mango. It’s under $40 and very on trend. PS everything in the store is 14% off for Valentine’s Day. So might be a great time to pick one up.
I just placed a new Nike order. I got these sneakers (super comfy), this top (size down, only in the NL right now) and this top (go with your usual size).
Netflix just dropped this bomb about Stranger Things on Instagram. Are you ready for the next season? I can’t wait for it.
I’m so happy that polka dots aren’t going anywhere because I’m in love with this dress.
If you haven’t seen it, this movie from the Oscar noms was SO good. Jon and I laughed out loud so many times while watching. And the story is really good too.
This brand keeps popping up in my Instagram ads. Really thinking I might make a ridiculous purchase for my birthday next month and get these.
Speaking of my birthday, we usually do birthday trips instead of gifts. Strangely I can’t decide where to go. Let me know if there’s someplace in Europe you really loved! Otherwise I’ll just be rereading this article until I can decide.
