Happy Friday and happy October my friends! Not going to lie, I’m quite excited for this month. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I love everything that comes with this month. You can bet I’ll be carving pumpkins and making apple cider. I’ve even started a list of Halloween movies to watch.
Unfortunately I don’t know how much celebrating we’ll be able to do on actual Halloween. This week, the Netherlands went back into a soft lockdown. Our covid cases have been rising in the big three cities, so they’re taking some precautions to hopefully bring it back down.
These restrictions are supposed to last for the next three weeks. You can read more about them in English here. Halloween comes just after these restrictions end, so I’m not holding my breath we can do anything.
If you’ve followed along for a while, you know that Halloween isn’t a big thing here either way. I’m thinking of putting together a guide to celebrating Halloween at home. Would you guys be interested?
Until we’ve got a better sense of what we’ll be allowed to do, I’m going to be jam packing this month with halloween and fall activities.
Stay tuned to them by following my stories on Instagram.
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 3, WEEK 37 & 38
Jon and I had such an amazing time in Sicily last week. Feeling very blessed to travel. For those of you who are dreaming of future travels, check out my guide to hiking Mount Etna. And then add it to your bucket list!
My Mango loungewear set came in, and it is soooo good. Jon keeps saying I’m wearing pjs to work, but I think he just doesn’t understand the concept of loungewear. I picked up this cardigan (EU), this knit bra (EU), and these leggings (EU).
Recently started watching this documentary on HBO about the Russian interference in the US election and world politics through social media. If you don’t have HBO, a similar story is available on this episode of the Daily podcast.
Now that it’s October and starting to cool down, I’m hoping to pick up some new slippers. I’m torn between getting another pair of these which I have LOVED or something like this.
This collared sweater is one of my favorite fall purchases. Also linking to several other great options in this post.
