Welcome to February my friends! Last month felt incredibly long, but I have a feeling this month is going to fly right by. In fact, I feel like the rest of the year is going to go quickly. Things are getting busy with work and with life.
Last week Jon and I were in NYC for work and a wedding. We arrived back in Amsterdam Monday morning and jumped straight into work. Naturally by the middle of this week I’d come down with a nasty cold. Funny how our bodies always know when it’s time to slow us down.
I’ve been doing A LOT of travel over the past several months. I’m really lucky and really appreciative of the opportunity to travel. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s hard. I’ve been in a perpetual state of jetlag since September. Every time I recover I jet off again. So I’m really glad to be staying in Europe for a while.
Of course that doesn’t mean I won’t be traveling this February. Jon and I are headed to ski the Alps later this month, something that’s been on my bucket list. We also will be doing some other travels throughout Europe, but nothing is set in stone yet.
Work will be picking up over the next few months, so I’m trying to stick to one of my 2020 goals – to find work life balance. Wish me luck!
Enjoy your weekend!
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 3, WEEK 3 & 4
I’m on the hunt for a great pair of off-white trousers. I don’t know why, but lately I’ve really been craving a pair. These just might be the pair.
I tried this facial workout while in NY last week. The results were immediate and super cool. My face was instantly lifted. Highly recommend for the day of a big event. AMS friends, there’s a London location!
H&M has some really great new arrivals like these pants, this pretty sweater, and this shirt.
I wore my teddy coat in NYC and got so many compliments on it. Someone even stopped me walking down the street to tell me they liked it. Unfortunately it’s no longer online but this, this and this are equally as cozy and cute.
Packing these boots when Jon and I go on our ski trip. Have literally been waiting all winter to wear them in the snow. Bonus: they’re super fuzzy and warm inside.
I’m not a very big Valentine’s person. But if you’re looking for some options to wear, I like this top paired with black skinny jeans or this dress.
Gap softspun tops are my all-time favorite when you need something soft and cozy. I recently picked up this pink cowl-neck top. It’s been my go-to with leggings for long haul flights.
Jon and I just started watching this show on HBO. It’s a bit detective story with a twist and based on a Stephen King novel. We are totally addicted. (PS – I’m scared of literally everything, and this hasn’t been scary yet).
Recently started sharing outfit posts on the blog. Check out the dress I wore to a black tie wedding (and spent less than $100 on!).
Been wearing this pretty necklace from my favorite French brand lately. They have such nice jewelry.
