Hey! It’s Friday! Just thought I’d let you know since all these days are blending together. This weekend marks three weeks since things shut down in the Netherlands due to covid-19. This week we also got an update that everything here will remain closed until April 28th. This means we’ll be missing King’s Day, probably the biggest holiday of the year in the Netherlands.
I’m sort of starting to settle into this way of life. This week started my pared back work schedule. I’m working afternoons and using the mornings to work on personal things. In particular, I’m putting extra time into this blog. That means more posts and updated links in old posts with fresh new options to shop.
I’m working to turn this blog into a secondary source of income. If you’re looking to do some online shopping and go through one of my links, I’ll get a small amount of commission (at no extra cost to you). I would really appreciate your support during this time!
While I’m settling into this new life, I’m also getting so antsy. I’m tired of cooking and feel like I’ve watched everything on Netflix already. So if you have any movie or show recs, leave them in the comments below!
I hope you’re all staying safe and keeping as positive as possible.
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 3, WEEK 12
This article brought up some good points about whether we should be shopping right now. I think if you’ve got the money to spare for a treat or two (especially from small businesses), it’s important to help bolster our global economy. But I also understand how scary and uncertain this time is financially. What are your thoughts?
If you’re in need of some positive mantras to get you through this month, this post has been written down and stuck on my mirror.
Been rocking this Nike top quite a lot while at home. Wearing it around the house with leggings makes me feel more productive than tops that are suuuuper cozy.
I just signed up for a viral marketing course from UPenn. You can find tons of free courses from Ivy League colleges here. I’ve bookmarked about 20 that I want to take.
If you’re looking for cozy sweatpants, I can’t recommend these enough.
Since we can’t go outside and wear spring clothes, I’m pinning them like crazy on Pinterest. It’s keeping me inspired while stuck at home. Give me a shoutout if you follow my boards, and I’ll follow back.
Jon and I are saving this movie to watch on Apple TV for this weekend. We watched too many movies the first week of isolation, so we’re trying to pace ourselves.
This dress was really popular on my Instagram this week. I can say it’s so so flattering.
I wrote this post on wearable spring trends this week. Have to admit that this is probably my favorite item for spring. And don’t worry these trends will carry over into summer too, so you’re not wasting your time on them.
