Friday Favorites: Round 2, Week 5, 6, & 7

Happy day after Valentine’s Day! If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been slacking on Friday Favorites. I’m going to go ahead and blame it on travel and now working full time. I’ve got a few clients, but have picked up more work and am now working all day, every day.

It feels really good to be back to work. If you’ve been following along for the past year, you know my struggle with unemployment. I love my work in brand management, so I’m very happy to be back at it. Of course that means that I’ve lost a lot of free time, which is why I’m like two weeks late with Friday Favorites.

This week has been really productive, and I’m so excited for what I’m working on. I know I’ve been teasing it for a while, so hopefully I can share soon. It’s a new product, so things are sensitive with launch. If I’m being honest, I haven’t done a ton outside of working and blogging. Boring, I know.

Jon and I did go out for a Valentine’s dinner last night. I’m not big on celebrating the day. I learned in high school that there are too many expectations around the holiday, and more likely than not you’ll be disappointed. So we just had a nice Italian dinner (lots of pasta and red wine!). It was perfect.

FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 2, WEEK 5, 6, & 7

This adorable bag that I bought while in Florida for half off. It’s surprisingly roomier than it looks!

This brand is having a killer sample sale. I’m so tempted to buy something, but I also kind of want to set the money aside to buy myself a really nice work bag.

I am almost done with this book. It’s a total page turner.

These boots are the most similar ones I’ve been able to find to my western style boots with stars. I’m actually surprised to find something so similar after picking these up at a Dutch sample sale.

I’m in need of a new phone case and have my eye on this one or this one.
