Holy crap! This is my last Friday Favorites before Christmas, and that’s just blowing me away. I swear every Friday since October I say this year is flying by, but it really is. This post is going live as I’m on a longggg flight with Jon to Australia. It’s our final trip of a really amazing year.
I have to say there is so much that I’m grateful for this year – another year abroad, so much travel, Jon, my family, my job. The list goes on and on. But I’m also somehow so exhausted by 2019. Even though I had a really wonderful year, I just have this feeling that 2020 is going to be really really good.
But before we jump all the way to next year, it’s time to chill for a bit and enjoy these last few weeks. I’m excited to be spending mine on the beach in Australia, surrounded by family. Believe it or not, it’s been over a year since I saw my mom and sister. So I’m going to be taking as much time as I can to enjoy this trip and slow down.
I hope whatever holiday plans you have includes taking a second to relax, take a look around, and appreciate what you’ve got. The year will be over before we know it, and we’ll be back to working our butts off.
