Guys, I’m kind of embarassed that it’s been like a month since my last Friday Favorites post. When I sat down to write this, I was shocked. But looking back at my calendar, it does make sense. Life has been insanely busy as of late.
To fill you in on the last couple weeks:
For two weeks in September, I was in New York for work with Bloomeffects. I had intentions of blogging while I was there. But between working all day, squeezing in workouts, and catching up with friends, I didn’t get to it. I barely even felt like I slept!
After my NYC trip, I was back in The Netherlands for a few days before scooting off to the Amalfi Coast for a much needed long weekend filled with sun, pasta, and Prosecco. I wrote a post about it here where you can also see so many amazing Italian summer photos.
At the moment, I’m back in New York City again. The traveling never stops! Jon and I spent the past weekend in Hudson for a wedding, and then I headed into the city for another two weeks of work.
Bloomeffects is hosting booth at Ipsy Live this weekend, so it’s been a crazy busy week of event prep and regular work duties. It’s so much harder to keep on top of blogging with so much going on. These are the times I wish I could be one of those people who functioned with only four hours of sleep so I could stay up and blog.
It’s a crazy busy life, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’ll be at Ipsy Live all weekend in the Bloomeffects booth. What are you up to this weekend?
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 2, WEEK 37
For my fellow cat lovers, this article that I read the other week is about a study proving cats really do care that you exist.
I’m really excited to be working with French brand, Sézane. Just ordered this gorgeous bucket bag. It’s just PERFECT for fall.
Also have my eyes on this top and this dress. I just adore French girl style.
Fall is the best time to invest in an awesome pair of ankle boots. I bought this pair last year, and they’re so good I’ll be wearing them all this year too. Especially love the pointed toe and buckle details.
Speaking of fall, my fall Pinterest board is on fire right now. Fall is my favourite season, and I’ve been spending a lot of rainy evenings pinning images while sitting in front of the TV.
Definitely didn’t need to do any shopping before I left for NY, but I couldn’t help but stop into Mango. The fall styles were calling my name. Picked up this polka dot midi dress and this super soft sweater.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Mango sweater | Vero Moda leather jacket | J. Crew Factory jeans | Steve Madden boots (my all time favourite fall/winter boots)
