Happy Friday, everyone! I’m back in the Netherlands and back on the blog after a busy week in NYC last week. It was really wonderful to spend a week working in the city and of course, to see Jon’s family. Even if it does make me a tiny bit homesick for the US.
One thing I definitely missed while in NYC last week was the smaller European portions. It’s probably one of the things I notice most when I go back. Every meal in the US is A LOT of food. And there’s so much salt and sugar. After being on a European diet for two years, my body sort of freaks out when I go to the States. Although I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed my Mexican food, even if I was nearly sick with how much I ate.
It’s quite chilly and rainy here in Amsterdam, but that’s ok because I’m looking forward to an easy and relaxing weekend. Jetlag is no joke. And I know I’m going to be dealing with a lot more of it because Bloomeffects has asked me to be in NYC at least once a month for the next few months.
We launch in just a few weeks, and I can’t believe it’s finally here. In fact, our wait list website just went live! You can check it out here. I’m so incredibly excited to finally be able to start talking about our products. So many amazing things to come for this brand. Hit the button on our site to sign up to be the first to know when our products are available for purchase!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Xx, Kelsey
FRIDAY FAVORITES: ROUND 2, WEEK 29 & 30
This sweater dress is 100% my fall style goals. Cozy and oh-so-chic.
This movie trailer nearly had me in tears. So excited for when it comes out.
These black boots arrived while I was in NYC. I was nervous they’d be too small. Everyone online says to size up, but they were sold out of the 8.5. They’re a tiny bit snug, but nothing I can’t handle for such a chic pair of boots.
As the weather cools down here in Amsterdam, I’m excited to start getting into more transitional outfits. This post has tons of tips for transitional dressing.
I started watching Chernobyl on the plane from from NYC. I’m just about to finish the last episode. I always love a drama that is also full of historical facts. I feel like I’m learning the whole time.
I can’t help but start getting excited about fall. This sweater is calling my name.
