Fall is officially here, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. Personally, I thrive when the weather gets cooler and the leaves start to change. I especially thrive when it comes to fall fashion, think sweaters, boots, and all things cozy.
I’ve already started ordering a few pieces for the season, so I wanted to share what’s in my fall shopping cart. It’s always tempting to pick up a million new items when the seasons switch. Things are so cute! But it’s important to take a look at what you already have and supplement from there. Decide if anything needs to be replaced or where there are gaps in your wardrobe. This way you won’t end up buying a cream sweater that’s very similar to the other two in your closet (guilty!).
Even so, remember to have fun with what’s in your fall shopping cart! Now’s the time to indulge in a few trends that feel fresh and fun for the new season.

MY FALL SHOPPING CART
- Plaid mini skirt (EU) – Mini skirts are having a major moment, and nothing feels more appropriately fall than a plaid version. It gives me all the back-to-school vibes in the best way.
- Cozy slippers (EU) – I’m still working from home, so slippers are necessary for keeping my toes warm. Last year’s pair has seen better days, so I’m replacing with these.
- Tweed cardigan (EU) – Tweed is very on trend this year, as is the color green. I love the way this cardigan fits.
- Rubber boots (EU) – I put these on here, even though I’ll be rewearing the Zara pair I bought last winter. If you don’t have a pair yet, this fall is the time to get them.
- Classic trousers (EU) – My fall shopping cart wouldn’t be complete without some classic pieces. I have these trousers in a herringbone print, and they’re so comfy. Just the right amount of stretch for WFH, but more tailored than leggings.
- White sneakers (EU) – These are a year-round staple for anyone living in Europe, but my pair needs a refresh. Veja is such a popular brand that I’ve decided to pick up a classic black and white pair.
- Oversized coat (EU) – Oversized is still the way to go with coats this year. I love this green color. Order a size down because this is majorly oversized.
- Printed dress (EU) – I love dresses in the summer, but that doesn’t have to change in the fall. This dress pairs well with bare legs and boots now, and tights later.
- Classic loafers (EU) – Chunky loafers are trending this year, but personally I’ll get so much more wear out of the classic style. I love the Gucci-inspired horsebit on this pair.
- Chunky sweater (EU) – Would it be a fall shopping cart list without a chunky sweater? This zipper detail on this style feels fresh for fall 2022
- Puffer vest (EU) – Puffers reign supreme this season, and the vest version is majorly on trend. It makes for an easy layering piece. Plus I love this vegan leather version.
- Trendy sunglasses (EU only) – I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of these glasses that don’t break the bank. They’re too trendy to spend $300 on, so this pair is perfect!
