It’s not quite sandal weather here in Amsterdam, but that doesn’t mean I’m not already purchasing pairs for when the weather warms up. I tend to wait to buy spring and summer sandals until the warm weather hits, but I wanted to get a head start this year. It helps that we’ve been in lockdown so I haven’t been doing much more than working and online shopping.
The list below includes the essential spring and summer sandals for a range of prices – from the Amazon deal to the luxury buy. No matter your budget you’ll be sure to find a pair that you’ll be styling with spring dresses here soon. And if you’re looking for more great spring/summer shoes, check out this post on the best white sneakers. They’re my go-to for casual looks!

Luxury sandals you’ll wear forever
Naturally had to put these high up on the list, since I’ve had my eye on them for years. Finally took the plunge as a birthday gift to myself and do not regret it. I’ve only heard good things about these sandals. They’re supposed to be super comfortable and last forever. If you’re in the market for luxury spring and summer sandals, this is it.
French espadrilles for that je ne sais quoi (EU)
My favorite French brand, Sezane, sent me these espadrilles just in time for summer. They fit true to size, and I can already tell they’re going to be insanely comfortable. They also come in black and tan!
Platform espadrilles that will go with everything (EU)
I was influenced by my favorite blogger, Jacey Durprie, to purchase these. She raves about their comfort level, and I have to admit the leather is super soft. These come in black and white and are a major budget find from Amazon! For my NL friends, they’re available in the Amazon.de shop here.
Quilted slides for when you want to be on trend (EU)
Quilted slides are still on trend this year and make my list of essential spring and summer sandals. The pair I bought last year is no longer available, but these are super close! They’re comfortable, easy to slide on, and work as house slippers during warmer months too!
