I love holidays. Like LOVE LOVE holidays. So naturally when I saw that there was a Christmas popup coffee shop in Dallas, I had to go while in town. I dragged my brother down with me because what’s Christmas spirit if you don’t share it?
The popup shop is called Deck the Hall Street coffee shop on the corner of Ross and Hall (hence the name). It’s a cute little spot, and very instagrammable for the holidays. Most notable is the painted brick wall outside that reads, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” Inside, the shop has cute little decorations and Christmas trees all around. Although they serve all your regular coffee drinks, there are lots of holiday themed options as well. I tried out the Fa-la-la latte, which included cinnamon and homemade lavender syrup. I don’t usually go for very sweet coffee drinks (I’m a plain soy latte kind of girl), but I figured if I was going to check this place I’d need to go all in. My brother opted for the traditional hot chocolate, topped with a marshmallow. The Fa-la-la latte was a bit too sweet for me, but if you’re a sweet coffee drinker, it’s worth a try!
It was super fun to check out this cute little coffee shop and definitely helped me to get into the holiday spirit despite the 70 degree weather. Unfortunately, the shop’s last day is tomorrow, Dec. 24th, so if you’re in town, go check it out before it’s gone!
