As a former competitive figure skater and current spin instructor, I have to admit I’ve spent a lot of time in athletic clothes. So I haven’t been upset that athleisure has been on trend for so long. From leggings to joggers there are so many options for looking chic and being comfy.
Of course, as a fashion blogger, I love to dress up. Which is why I’m loving this black and white athleisure look that is more styled. In particular, I saw this Nike cropped sweatshirt on @sheamarie and knew I’d be adding it to my next order. The chevron shape has been all the rage on knit sweaters, and makes this sweatshirt so much cooler.
The outfit wouldn’t be complete without a pair of classic high waisted leggings. I wear this pair when I teach spin classes, but they’re comfy enough for lounging around the house. (Best of both worlds!) I also had to throw on my dad shoes. I bought this pair over the summer and have worn them quite often. Dad shoes are still relatively polarizing, but becoming way more mainstream. And I just love the way the over-sized fit makes your legs look smaller.
Hope you like this black and white athleisure look. I have a feeling I’m going to be wearing it a lot! And if you want to check out some more leggings and cute workout wear, head to this post.
Xx, Kelsey
