The Best Swimsuit Cover-Ups for 2021

For some reason, finding great swimsuit cover-ups is always a dilemma for me. It’s surprisingly tricky to find cover-ups that check all the boxes – flattering, enough coverage, fits with the swimsuits I bought for the year. Since we haven’t been able to travel much over the past year+, I spent some extra time researching the best swimsuit cover-ups for 2021 in preparation for upcoming trips.

Two-piece set (EU) – No lie, I’ve haven’t shopped Abercrombie this much since I was in middle school. But they are slaying it with the swimsuits and swimsuit cover-ups this year. I have plans to wear this two-piece set over a white bikini at the beach club in Ibiza.
Crochet dress (EU) – The ’70s are majorly trending this year (see more on the trend in this post). Naturally, I had to grab a crochet midi dress for a cover-up. These dresses are very on-trend, so you’ll be seeing them everywhere this summer.
Oversized button-down (EU) – This is the easiest cover-up trend to buy into for 2021. And the most practical because you can get a ton of use out of the button-down all year long. Wear it over your swimsuit now and with jeans in the fall.
Loose dress (EU) – I bought this dress in white last year, and it’s back again. This is one of the best swimsuit cover-ups for 2021 if you’re planning to indulge (as you should!) in all that beach food. I love the loose fit and the very cottage core style. It also comes in lots of fun colors.
Flowy pants (EU) – These pants are currently on sale, so run quick! They’re a great option to pair with your bikini top for the beach and a cute tank or crop top when going out to dinner. The high waist style is also super flattering. PS – Mango (EU) has tons of different prints in similar styles so you can find one that suits you.
