Living in Europe, I’ve noticed there are two types of shoes that European girls gravitate towards – sneakers and boots. It makes sense when your main source of transportation is walking or biking. You’ll see sneakers all year round, but boots really start appearing when the temps begin to cool.
Even when I lived in the states, I always got excited to pick out new boots for fall. Since living here and being influenced by European fashion, I get excited about testing out the latest trends in fall boots. I already own several classic pairs, so this fall I’m looking to pick up one or two pairs that are more on trend.
Below, you’ll find the best pairs of boots for fall 2018. Honestly, if I had the budget every single one of these fall boots would be in my closet right now!
What is your favorite style of boots for fall 2018? Let me know in the comments!
Xx, Kelsey
- Leopard – Leopard is THE print of the season, so why not extend the trend all the way down to your toes? I especially love the pointed toe on this Marc Fischer pair.
- Western – I’ve already gotten excited about these boots for fall 2018 here. There are enough Western styles to please anyone – from basic black to this killer red pair from Mango that I’m totally drooling over.
- White Knee-High – I already love white shoes, but this knee-high pair is one of my favorite boots for fall 2018. I can imagine it looking so good underneath a leopard midi skirt.
- Chunky Chelsea – Chelsea boots are always in style. If you’re in need of a new pair this season, update them by reaching for a pair with a chunky sole. Not only will they be on trend, but the thicker sole will last through fall rain and winter snow.
- White Chelsea – I purchased this pair from Chinese Laundry last year, and I’m excited to see it back again this year. This boot goes with everything from jeans to dresses and skirts.
- Lace-Up – Lace-up boots with a thick heel are a fun way to play with masculine and feminine. I’m looking forward to pairing mine with black tights and a feminine dress.
- Hiking – I’ve been looking for a good pair of hiking style boots (not for actual hiking) since I saw Jacey Duprie wearing hers last winter. I really love the Proenza Schouler pair, but this pair is much more budget friendly.
- Cut-Out – I had a similar studded pair last year, but I’m excited for the cut-out updates on this year’s boots. It gives you lots of room to play with fun socks. I’m imagining a grey sparkly pair with these ones.
